We are all feeling a bit disconnected these days. Perhaps from our friends or extended families, our work lives, or maybe even a bit from ourselves. We at MKC have felt disconnected from the vibrant energy built around art and artists that was so purposefully part of the vision of the gallery. Yet, perhaps this important moment in time is in actuality just an untethering of how we all feel we HAVE to be, to live, to work, to create ... a chance given by the universe to finally let one’s life, work, relationships, priorities, and actions match a life we’d actually create for ourselves from the highest place—if we only could. As the gallery slowly reopens and embraces the future in these coming days and weeks, we wanted to be able to share the energy with you regardless of whether we will get to give you a six foot elbow bump this month ... or next. Welcome to the virtual grotto you will get to see recreated each Monday for the rest of the summer. Where art invites you to untether what you think you understand and become a part of its world. It’s our summer postcard to you, wherever you are in the world.
